LIC Portal Registration Process
Registration for Online Services on LIC Portal

Prepare the following information:
- Policy numbers on your own life and on the lives of minor children
- Instalment premiums under these policies (without service tax/GST)
- Scanned image of PAN Card or Passport (file size less than 100 KB)

Visit www.licindia.in and Click on “Customer Portal”

If not registered earlier for Customer Portal, click on “New user”
In the next screen, choose a user id and password of your choice and submit.

Login with your newly created user id
Click on "Basic Services" > "Add Policy" to enroll all your remaining policies.

Follow the 3-step process for registration for Premier Services:

Filling up Registration Form
- Basic details (Date of Birth, mobile number, e-mail ID)
- Provide PAN Card or Passport details
- List of enrolled policy numbers (own life and minor children)
- Separate registration required for policies on spouse's life

Print Form
- Click on Print/Save form and print the registration form
- Check and sign the registration form
- Create scanned images of signed form and any KYC document (PAN or Passport)

Upload Form / Check status
- Upload scanned images of registration form and KYC document
- Submit the request
- Receive acknowledgement SMS and e-mail for verification
- Verification by LIC Customer Zone Official (within 3 working days)
- Receive final acknowledgement e-mail and SMS

Process of various services and online forms:
Claims Under Regular Life Insurance Policies Death Claims:
The person legally entitled to receive the policy monies should give intimation of death of the policyholder to the servicing Branch. The requirement for the claim are as given below:
- Claim Form 'A' in Form No.3783. If policy has run for 3 years or more from date or risk, claim form no.3783A may be used
- Certified extract from death register
- The original policy document with Deed/s of assignment/s, if any. (Additional requirement may be required under a policy according to the status of the policy. Please contact our servicing Branch for details).
